Meaning Scale
Much of my work is creating contradictions between every day assumptions and material objects. Sometimes, I like to use modes of measurement to show the value of the implied meaning of language and the physical realities of the world.
This piece is an example of playing off the idea of meaning having weight. I wanted to stack up an entire language, with all it’s meaning along with it, against an innate piece of plaster.
